Vehicle Description One of a kind and very well known 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Coupe factory K-Code 289 HiPo with the factory 4 speed manual and 4:
11 rear end!!! One very particular enthusiast owner from 1964 until 2018.
Very well known car in Mustang circles.
It is fully documented Including the original Retail Buyers Order from Ronkonkoma Motors of Centereach, New York on April 24, 1964, original car invoice, original window sticker, original Ford registration card, original car ticket, original inspection form, original build cards and the original owner's manual!!! It also comes with a file of many other documents from the original owner and letters and explanations about many facts about the car over the years!!! The car is mostly original except for repair items over the years and a complete and beautiful repaint a few years ago.
It is listed as car #67 in the K-Code Registry and has been very lovingly cared for it's whole life by the original owner!!! We have all the documentation and old parts that were replaced over the years.
It was featured in a very nice article in Mustang Magazine issue 21!!! It was the recipient of a Gold Award in MCA Grand National and other National shows in the driven class!!! We have the awards that go with the car too!!! It was drag raced by the original owner when it was new and it still has the lower tow bar frame brackets welded on the frame!! We even have the actual headers that he used when he was racing it back then.
It has a wonderful story and is a great piece of Mustang history!!! The original owner sold it on December 4, 2018 to the second collector owner on Bring-A-Trailer and if you want to look back at the sale history you can see the dialogue that the original owner had throughout the sale with interested buyers who had many questions about the cars history!!! We just purchased it from the second owner's estate, who happened to be a friend of Ray's.
This really is a one of a kind opportunity to purchase a rare and desirable part of the ear.
