Production Planner/Customer Service

SUMMARY
Under limited supervision, performs routine Production Planning and Customer Support , dispatching tasks to insure the timely flow of production activity to meet customer needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for professional and courteous customer communication of shipping commit dates and maintain an organized communication status report.
Responsible for running job routers and distribution to shop floor.
Communicate closely with Engineering to incorporate changes to new or existing work orders and operation sheets
Work closely with Purchasing and Engineering to make sure required assembly details are in process at outside suppliers to meet the required assembly dates.
Work closely with Purchasing and Receiving to make sure material traceability is accurately maintained.
Fully manages the production planning process from printing purchase orders to getting material, details or assemblies shipped for outside processing.
Performs other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous production planner and/or customer service experience
Experience in Aerospace is a plus but not a requirement.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
two-to-four years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as job routers, operation sheets and general blueprints.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and colleagues.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Individual must be able to carry job boxes up to 25 lbs and know to ask for help in any situation where the job might exceed 25 lbs.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
