OBJECTIVE Drive customer order execution, according to agreed takt time and in line with our priorities safety, quality, delivery and cost.
This is a second line manager position responsible for coordinating between different processes / cells / sites and support functions.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Verify the quality and execution of the (SOP's) by the team and via audit dialogues Perform audits according to ALPS By own presence drive and support performance of the team and employees Be responsible for unit/department cost center, including budgeting & planning Drive performance meetings, improvement meetings and related activities Be a link between the warehouse and support functions (quality, office, LCT, finance) for daily issues Control of quality, deviations and line stops Recruit, mentor and coach the warehouse team with a goal to meet all established KPI measurements Provide the team with relevant information (positive communication) Set and follow up targets for the team and each employee, broken down from the site level As process owner be responsible for:

Q-system delivery cost ORGANIZATIONAL COMPONENTSReporting to the Site/Factory Manager:
Act as first line manager with the financial authority to execute within the teams costing update frame.
Make Decisions Regarding:
Overtime work Capacity transfer in - and transfer out of the department.
Stopping production in the cell in case of safety / quality / environmental deviations SOP audit dialogues/feedback sessions and take corrective actions in case of deviations.
Delegation of tasks in the unit Strong collaboration with the other site departments KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES Team recruitment, development, & retention Delivery accuracy - shipping & invoicing on time (DOTp & DOTi) Productivity in the WH (picking, packing, receipt, inventory control) Inventory accuracy at 98%

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION DESIRED Strong business education bachelor's degree in logistics, distribution, business, supply chain or other related field 5 years of experience managing multiple employees in a warehousing and distribution environment Commitment to WH safety/Housekeeping and Sustainability as top priorities Experience with methodologies used in warehousing to include continuous improvement tools, e g 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, SOP's Experience with MS Office, WMS, ACT, Movex, and shipping systems Previous experience with implement industry accepted WMS or upgrades Experience with new automated distribution set up, building and warehouse moves.
Experience and a proven track record for project management successful through established methodology Strong WH and Supply chain technology experience and understanding of how they operate Strong customer service orientation Knowledge & understanding of financial planning and development.
Experience with warehouse pick, pack, ship and inventory control methodologies IATA, CFR49, Hazmat storing and shipping, and industrial lift equipment certifications preferred.
Strong Skills in time management, attention to details, written & verbal communications.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORSFrequent walking in a light industrial work environment.
Occasional lifting and bending to inspect parts, equipment, or various aspects of the work environment.
Position located in Greenwood, IN.
Requirements include working in an office environment and in a light industrial distribution center.
Steel toe shoes always required while in the facility.
