Job Duties Properly prepares exam rooms for patient care by ensuring the room is properly stocked and cleaned Rooms patients, checks vital signs, and assesses patient needs to communicate with provider Assists provider with patient procedures as directed by the provider Communicates effectively both written and orally with patients, patients' families, coworkers, and other outside entities Completes routine forms for patients as appropriate Ensures chart documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) is correctly completed in timely manner Assist with prior authorizations for outpatient procedures Experience Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or working in a Medical Office Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Completion of Medical Assistant Certificate Program or Associates Degree from accredeted MA program Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) or Registration (RMA) Computer skills Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA and ADA Knowledge of standard laboratory and medical procedures Basic math, accurate data collection and data entry skills Additional Information Monday through Friday; No Weekends Keywords Front office, medical assistant, CMA, RMA, Registered Medical Assistant, certified DO NOT APPLY ONLINE, PLEASE SUBMIT RESUMES DIRECTLY TO :
