Summary:
Works with the surgical team to perform post-operative duties, direct patient care; observes and reports changes in the behavior and physical status of patients; provides a clean and safe environment; and performs other related duties as necessary to assist the professional staff.
Qualifications:
High School Graduate Medical Assistant (certification preferred) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Previous experience with an EMR system preferred Duties and

Maintains notes on patient record.
Document episode of care accurately, timely, completely Notify the RN any observed changes in patients status and responses Monitor vital signs and recognize emergencies and notify RN Performs other assigned duties as assigned The employee must be able to:
Walk, stand and sit for prolonged periods of time Regularly be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Regularly be able to bend, stoop, kneel and climb Adhering to standard precautions including the use of personal protective equipment Job Type:
