8 Full-time Temporary 3 hours ago Full Job Description Role
Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets and routings in a fast-paced production cell.
Follow Work Instructions, prioritize/schedule and ship orders on time.
Load programs, make minor offsets and change cutting tools.
Accurately measure, utilize and handle precision instruments, calipers, micrometers, surface finish checks, indicators, and tape measures-both Metric and English.
Ensure equipment is well maintained by performing TPM activities according to schedule while continuing to develop the preventative maintenance program measured by 1.
Unplanned Downtime, and 2.
Completion of scheduled TPM per cycle period.
Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpiece.
Cross train in Assembly operations while actively working hands-on with other production team members to remain versatile and able to fill in on other areas of the line where directed.
Maintain accurate records for work performed.
Additional duties as assigned ie:
Forklift use, CNC tooling set up kitting, parts washer operation, chip tote changing and general housekeeping necessary Qualification
Profile Must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to read and understand specifications.
Must have good math skills Ability to write simple correspondence Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel High school diploma or general education (GED) degree required; And one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training in basic machine trades.
Willing to work overtime when needed to accomplish customer & team objectives.
